Event and Camp Calendar

WE PROVIDE CAMPS, CLASSES, AND EVENTS FOR CHESS PLAYERS.

Rose City Chess welcomes all ages and skill levels, from beginner to master. We have online and in-person options in Portland, Beaverton, and Bend. If you love chess, you’ve come to the right place.

IMPACT

  • 400+ students yearly at schools in Portland, Beaverton, and Bend

  • 300+ students served yearly at training camps

  • 30+ community events per year, including fundraisers for PTAs, chess events in support of small businesses, and Rose City Chess Day with the Portland Thorns

  • $14,000 awarded to high school and college students through 2022-2023 Oregon Chess Project Fellowships

  • Reduced carbon footprint of awards at RCC and OSCF events by and estimated 95%

  • Multiple Team State Championships

  • Initiated Chess Day with Oregon State Legislature
