Beginner classes emphasize learning basic rules, tactical patterns, strategic ideas, and embracing mistakes. Our beginner classes are suitable for absolute beginners through USCF U800.
Beginner Group Lessons
60 minute weekly group lesson, approximately 4 lessons each month
Make-up lessons available if you miss a day
Lesson consist of a mix of the following:
Achievements: Celebrating development milestones for each player
Game Analysis: Highlighting teachable moments in student games
Strategy: Focused overview on key concepts
Tactics: Developing calculation, visualization, and pattern recognition
Open Play: Students play each other and the coach in Lichess Tournaments and Simuls
